It’s time for Africa! MotoRover presents the South Africa Self-Drive Road Trip 2025. This is a 9-day guided group tour conducted in a fly and drive format. This means all you have to do is book the tour, get your South Africa visa and fly into Cape Town. Every service from the time you arrive in Cape town till your departure is covered in our comprehensive tour package. Our ground team includes an expert local guide and a MotoRover Indian tour manager in the ‘lead’ car followed by the participant cars and a second MotoRover car at the tail end of the group is driven by our mechanic to ensure that you travel with full support and safety between our two cars. You will be given a Toyota Fortuner automatic transmission SUV for with fuel for the entire distance of the tour. Also included are 4 star or similar level hotels, all meals and bottled water, activities and entrance fees to nature reserves as per the tour program and airport pickup and drop in Cape town.

Our driving route starts and ends in the seaside city of Cape Town and traces the famous ‘Garden Route’ of South Africa, the most naturally beautiful region of the country. It includes the spectacular cliffside drive along Chapman’s Peak, visit to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, the southern-most point of the African continent at Cape Agulhas, winding roads, mountain passes and offroad sections.

Along with the drive, you will be enjoying exciting sights and activities like the Big 5 wildlife Safaris, Cango caves in Oudtshoorn, Penguins at Boulder beach, wine tasting in the wine region of South Africa and a rest day in Knysna with multiple activity options.
